Reflection Guide
In case you didn't see the e-mail, here is a helpful guide that can help you with future reflections! :D
These are some questions you can ask yourself to help you along :
1. What word or verse caught your attention?
2. In what way does it speak to you?
3. What do you plan do about it this week?
4. What are you going to do to help overcome this weakness / difficulty / situation?
5. WWJD? (What would Jesus do?)
6. What do you think Jesus would want you to do?
7. What blessing(s) have you recently received?
8. Do you have any concerns that you would like us to pray for?
(Thank you, Tita Lilibeth, for giving us these marvelous questions!)
Here are a few reminders for Reflection time in general :
1. ALWAYS start with an opening prayer.
2. Please be mindful of others, even if they are not in your group.
3. Try, when possible, to end your reflection with a prayer.
4. L.I.P.J.A.S.S. - Listen, (Don't) Interrupt, (Don't) Preach, (Don't) Judge, (Don't) Advise, (Keep) Secret, (Keep) Sacred
5. Try to relate prayer to life.
6. Don’t be shy, but we’re never going to force you! But we will rotate everyone!
7. If you’re having trouble with the wording / getting it all out the way you want it, say a prayer asking the Lord for the eloquence to express it HIS way!
8. ALWAYS end close with a prayer.
