2016 Nursing Home Visitation
2012 Nursing Home Visitation
Hey guys :) So all of guys know that yesterday was the J6 Nursing home visitation/Field trip. The nursing home visitation was a lot of fun. Even though we had some minor problems, it turned out to be a success. It was my first time visiting the nursing home yesterday, so it was really nice to see the senior citizens smiling and having fun :) I wish you all could have made it.

2011 Nursing Home Visitation
The sky was deary and the rain felt like dropping whenever it wants to. That did not deter or dampen us from our mission to the Nursing Home. Although some of us were delayed, we managed to assemble at the venue and to bring all the equipment up to the second floor without a hitch. We were fortunate to find out that they had a flat screen TV, so we were able to utilized it instead of setting up a screen for the projector. Thanks to all who came and help, especially the Mark 10 kids and two talented John 6 violinists who came and did a presentation. We started with an opening prayer, some hand stretches, and a joke. We then did a short worship readings for the Penticost Sunday. After the short worship, we started singing the "oldies" from the 1960s era of the Beatles and Elvis Presley. It went pretty well (not our singing [lol] but) for some of the residence as they joined in to the singing. With the blessings of the Lord and the shower of the Holy Spirit upon us, we can do no wrong! Another 'mission' accomplished. Amen?
