Auxies and Sponsors Guidelines - Do's and Dont's
Do's and Don'ts
These guidelines should be taken seriously. The auxie or sponsor and parent must agree to these guidelines by checking the appropriate box on the Crossing application form. If the guidelines are broken and/or behavior is inappropriate, the parent of the auxie or sponsor will be immediately notified to come and take him or her home. You acknowledge that you will be held accountable for understanding the rules and guidelines as an auxie or sponsor. This is NOT an all inclusive list and many more may be posted during the Crossing weekend.
1. It's all about the candidates! Your purpose for the weekend is to serve the Lord and not yourselves.
2. Do not socialize with the candidates so that they will not be distracted.
3. Lead by example. Take responsibility, treat each other equally and be humble, especially in regards to vigil.
4. Always be mindful of your vigil schedule and demonstrate utmost reverence to the Blessed Sacrament in the
Vigil Room.
5. Be familiar with your assignments and responsibilities.
6. Adhere to appropriate and modest dress code.
7. Adhere to any and all additional posted Guidelines.
